Beyond a Clever Name!
At least we like to think the moniker of our video/film/interactive media/script-copywriting enterprise is “clever.” Founded nearly 20 years ago by Robert Parish (that’s me), my associates and I have written and produced thousands of television programs commercials, digital marketing and training videos, shameless promotional hype, and radio projects.

In case you’re wondering (and I hope you are), the name “Write Field” was inspired by a photo shoot I arranged at Cincinnati’s “Riverfront Stadium.” My love of baseball (I’ve played, coached and been a fan ever since I can remember) led me to the now imploded home of the Cincinnati Reds one hot summer afternoon.

Dressed in a vintage minor league baseball uniform (thank you Ebbets Field Flannels), my goal was to have a photo taken in hopes of producing my own baseball card (thank you Big League Cards), which ultimately became a homerun promotional vehicle for my fledgling business.

Sitting in right field (where Paul O’Neill once roamed), I thought, “I write. My-oh-my (Dave Niehaus), I’m sitting in right, on the warning track, 330 feet from home plate.” “Warning Track Features” sounded wrong, as did “330 Feet Productions.” Well, you get the picture (upper left).

So, thanks for visiting our “Write Field Features” website.
Here, you’ll find more about me, samples of our broadcast and corporate work, some of my favorite audio, and DVD ordering information.
